Kristina Bishop
Kristina Bishop is a Social Scientist and Applied Econometrician, specializing in networks and innovation and currently employed as a Research Fellow of the J. Reuben Clark School at Brigham Young University. Her research involves crafting and analyzing industries through social network analysis with applications to innovation diffusion, diversity dynamics in the legal profession, and litigation outcomes. Kristina integrates data visualization, textual analysis, machine learning, and econometric into her methodology. She is eager to contribute insights and advanced research skills to support strategic initiatives.
As a Niemi Fellow with the George Bush Institute, she contributed to the creation of a pioneering ranking system assessing efficiency of innovation in U.S. universities and conducted research on determining factors of innovation.
As a Ph.D. Economist, her research included modeling household recovery speeds from income shocks and the role of cultural outcomes on intergenerational mobility.
